Description:
Renew MDP is a 10-MDP (Methacryloyloxydecyl Dihydrogen Phosphate) based, single-component, ethanol-water-based self-etch bonding agent designed for both direct and indirect restorations. It combines etching, priming, and bonding in one bottle, offering superior adhesion and compatibility with light-cure, self-cure, and dual-cure composite materials.
Key Features
-
10-MDP functional monomer for strong bonding to dentin and enamel (cut or uncut).
-
Single-bottle system for etching, priming, and bonding.
-
Compatible with light, self, and dual-curing composite materials, compomers, and ormocers.
-
Effective for both direct and indirect restorations.
-
Acts as a desensitizer and can be used for intraoral repairs.
Indications
-
Bonding for dual-cure, light-cure, and self-cure composites.
-
Cementation of indirect restorations and endodontic posts.
-
Intraoral repair of restorations.
-
Desensitizing exposed dentin.
Product Benefits
-
Full compatibility with all curing modes.
-
Can be used with or without phosphoric acid etching.
-
Enhances adhesion with 10-MDP monomer chemistry.
Instructions for Use (Summary)
Direct Restorations
-
Apply using self-etch or selective-etch technique.
-
Use 2 coats, scrub for 10–15 sec per coat, air-dry, and light cure.
Indirect Restorations
-
Prepare surface, apply 2 coats, air-dry, light cure, and proceed with cementation.
Priming of Restorations
-
Metal/Zirconia/Composite: Abrade surface, apply 1 coat, light cure.
-
Porcelain/Lithium Disilicate: Follow manufacturer’s surface treatment, apply Renew MDP, and use silane where required.
Desensitization
-
Apply 2 coats to prepared tooth surfaces, air-dry, light cure.
Intraoral Repairs
-
Roughen surface, condition as required, apply 1 coat, air-dry, light cure, and restore.
Endodontic Post Bonding
-
Prepare canal, apply 2 coats in canal and on post, air-dry, light cure, then cement.
(Refer to the full instruction manual for detailed protocols.)
