Pyrax Impression Composition/Compund

Pyrax Red Color Thermoplastic Impression Material is designed for taking primary impressions in edentulous cases. Supplied in convenient round cakes, it can also be used as sticks for copper band impressions or added to the periphery of an impression or custom tray. Each color has a controlled working temperature suitable for specific dental applications. Once placed in the mouth, the material hardens to accurately record soft tissue details. Impressions should be poured within an hour due to limited dimensional stability. Pyrax impression compounds come in two main types: red compound for primary impressions and greenstick for border molding and post-dam recording.
