Prevest DenPro Renew Universal

Renew Universal is a single-component, self-etch dental bonding agent containing 10-MDP (Methacryloyloxydecyl Dihydrogen Phosphate) and 4-META functional monomers. Designed for both direct and indirect restorations, it combines etching, priming, and bonding in a single bottle. It delivers excellent adhesion to dentin and uncut enamel, and is fully compatible with light-cure and dual-cure composite materials.

• Direct bonding of light-cured composites, compomers, and ormocers to tooth structure.

• Intraoral repair of composite, metal, and ceramic restorations (with silane for glass ceramics and surface conditioning for zirconia/alumina).

Directions for Use

Bonding Procedure

1. Cavity Preparation:

• Prepare tooth using standard techniques.

• Remove any temporary material completely.

• Use a rubber dam for isolation.

• Rinse and gently air-dry.

2. Treatment of Tooth Surfaces:
Choose one of the following techniques:

• Self-Etch: Apply directly to bur-cut enamel and dentin. Non-bur-cut enamel should be etched with 35–40% phosphoric acid for 10 sec, rinse 5 sec, gently dry.

• Selective Etch: Etch enamel only with 35–40% phosphoric acid for 10–15 sec, rinse 5 sec, gently dry.

• Total Etch: Etch enamel and dentin with 35–40% phosphoric acid for 10–15 sec, rinse 5 sec, gently dry.

3. Application of Renew Universal:

• Bottle: Shake well, dispense into a clean dish, recap immediately.

• Syringe: Dispense onto applicator tip.

• Apply generously to all surfaces with disposable applicator.

• Leave for 10 seconds.

• Dry thoroughly for 5 seconds with oil-free air under maximum pressure (use suction to avoid splatter).

4. Light Curing:

• Cure for 20 seconds with a visible light curing unit.

5. Composite Placement:

• Follow composite manufacturer’s instructions for placement and curing.

Treatment of Hypersensitive Teeth & Immediate Dentin Sealing

• Use self-etch technique.

• Wait 10 seconds before drying.

• Light cure for 20 seconds.

• Remove unpolymerized layer with moist cotton pellet.

Storage

• Store at 10°C–24°C in a cool, dry place.

• Close cap tightly after use.

• Keep away from moisture.

• Shelf life: 2 years from manufacturing date.
